Lucky Coin

★★★★☆ 4.4 Editor rating

Lucky Coin is one of those games that sounds too simple to be interesting until you actually try it. You have one coin, and you flick it to roll, bounce, and drop through each level toward a glowing slot at the end. That's the whole pitch, and it works because the physics feel honest — you learn how much force a swipe gives and start reading angles like a pool player.

The level design is where it earns the good score. Early stages teach you ramps and gaps, and by the middle you're timing rotating platforms and threading the coin through tight corridors. Nothing is unfair; every failure is clearly your own misjudged flick, which keeps you tapping retry instead of rage-quitting.

Controls are drag-and-release, and the game is generous with instant restarts, so you never lose momentum. It runs smoothly even on older phones, and the calm background music makes it a great pick for winding down. We spent a whole train ride on it without noticing the stops.
