Tidewatch Command

Tidewatch Command is a slower, thinkier strategy game where you defend a chain of island settlements against rising raids. You place watchtowers, manage supply boats between islands, and decide where to spend scarce resources each turn. It rewards planning ahead rather than fast fingers.

The map is the star here — everything is one connected system, so pulling defenders off a quiet island to reinforce a hot spot has real consequences. We lost a whole outpost once because we got greedy with expansion, and that sting is exactly what a good strategy game should deliver.

It's a bit menu-heavy at first, and the tutorial could be gentler. But once it clicks, the campaign gives you dozens of hours of careful, satisfying decisions.
